Children in forty-six Houston area schools presented their environmental visions in wonderful artistic renditions for this year’s Earth Day Houston Art Contest. These enthusiastic third through eighth graders submitted 1,500 works of art.

The winning artwork has been professionally framed by Skyline Art Services. These works will be honored and available for purchase through the following schedule. Proceeds will go to the winning schools and Air Alliance. All the winning art will be on public display throughout the city from May to August. Successful bidders will take possession of the art in September.

Air Alliance Houston is a non-profit whose mission is to reduce air pollution in the Houston region to protect public health and environmental integrity through research, education and advocacy.

This year, the student’s winning art will be framed and auctioned to raise money for the winners’ schools and Air Alliance Houston. There will be both a live and silent auction for the various pieces. Your bid will support the arts in schools. You will retain possession of purchased art once the pieces complete their display tour.
